Join us on a regional exploration of Cork’s gourmet coast.

Southern Ireland’s gem, Cork and its coastline boast award winning artisan food producers, crafts people, culinary experts and Irish food champions.

Spending the week at a family-run country house hotel, we will visit Cork city and its famous English market before meandering through the region’s towns and villages to visit farms & artisan food producers, meet local fishermen, and learn from crafts people along the way. We will immerse ourselves in the local culture by listening to stories and sharing group meals while still having time for coastal walks, cosy pub visits and impromptu music sessions.

Price is per person sharing for 5 nights from Sunday to Friday. Flights and airport transfers are not included. Single occupancy details on request.

Sample Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive at your hotel and settle in. We will meet you for a welcome reception and introductions followed by the first meal of the week!

Day 2: Travel to the nearby heritage town of Trim for an historic amble around it’s colourful streets, cross the oldest working bridge in Ireland and tour it’s famous Castle. You will have some free time for lunch before we leave for a visit to a farm producing Rapeseed Oil. You are free for dinner tonight.

Day 3: Known for its rich pastures on the banks of the Boyne, Meath produces some of the best dairy products in the land. We will visit a cheese maker on his 400 year old farm. Cookery demo and Dinner with Irish produce in home Maura Keegan?

Day 4: Today we return to the village of Slane, famous for its Castle and grounds which form a natural amphitheatre which has hosted multiple rock concerts over the years. First we visit a local natural soap factory and learn about the handmade soap making process. We will visit Slane Castle where we will have lunch and then tour the Slane Whiskey Distillery.

Day 5: Breadmaking? In the afternoon we will visit a refurbished Castle estate which is home to a herd of venison. We will tour the estate and complete our tour with a specially prepared meal of local produce.

Day 6: You have come to the end of your Curated Adventure. Time to check out of your hotel and bid farewell to the Boyne Valley.
